Throughout the month of May, Crystal Dynamics will be celebrating Asian-American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Inclusivity is a cornerstone of our studio, so we love supporting underrepresented people internally and externally. The Indie developer scene consists of many talented and passionate developers that don’t get enough spotlight, so we’re here to help shine a light on some great games from AAPI communities!

This month we will highlight a couple of AAPI Indie studios and their upcoming titles. First up is the highly anticipated Cuisineer by Battlebrew Productions. Hailing from Singapore, the team at Battlebrew have been creating games since 2017, and their latest title is releasing this summer on Steam. Cuisineer is an action roguelike title with charming graphics and a food-focused theme. Singapore is renowned for their cuisine, even seeing street food earn Michelin stars, so the theme is very fitting. We are excited to see how Pom’s journey unfolds spatula in-hand, as she attempts to save her family’s restaurant. Be sure to check out the team at Battlebrew and their other titles!
